Miss Maryland USA made history when Bailey Anne Kennedy was crowned their 2024 queen. Kennedy is not only the first transgender titleholder in the state preliminary, she is also the first married woman, and the first woman over the age of 30 set to compete at the national Miss USA Pageant in August.
